Mauritius Employment Residence Permit

Foreigners who wish to engage in employment and salaried occupations should obtain Work Permit from Mauritius Ministry of Labor and Residence Permit from Passport Immigration Office. The applicants with employment purposes are not allowed to enter Mauritius without these permits.

Mauritius Student Residence Permit

The application must be done by sponsoring institutions on behalf of a foreigner who wishes to obtain a residence permit. The purposes of this permit are practical training/industrial placement/internship of foreign students. The residence permit is valid for 6 months. Firstly, entry permission is given to the applicants to enter the country, which is valid for 1 month. Within 2 weeks upon arrival, the applicant must submit an application for a residence permit.

Mauritius Spouse Residence Permit

Foreigners who wish to stay in Mauritius with their spouse (citizen or resident in Mauritius) can obtain Mauritius Spouse Residence Permit.
