Oman E-visa is an online way to obtain a visa to realize a trip to Oman.

The Sultanate of Oman has set up an Electronic visa since 21 March 2018. Business, Tourist, and Express visa applications can be made on the Internet. Thus, since March 21, 2018, tourist or express visas are no longer be issued by the police at the Omani borders (airports and border posts, nor by the consular services of Oman visa exempted countries).

  • Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Suriname, Uruguay, Paraguay, Ecuador.
• Other countries and regions:
  • Australia, New Zealand, Brunei Dar Al Salam, Japan, French Guinea, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Macao (China).
• The following nationals with valid EU visas or residence permits
  • Great Britain, Canada, and the USA, but also Azerbaijan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Panama, Peru, Turkmenistan, Georgia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Cuba, Laos, Nicaragua, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Costa Rica, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Tajikistan, Honduras, Maldives, Byelorussia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iran, Albania, Bhutan.

Nationals of those countries with the Visa Waiver Program must apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) for an Oman trip before traveling to Oman. Nationals of countries that are not included on this list can contact the Sultanate Embassy's Consular Service.

Oman Short-term Visa

If you are not eligible for E-visa, you can also apply for traditional "on paper" visas for realizing your short-term travel to Oman. Oman Business/Congress/Trade Fair Visit Visa

Oman Business visa gives you the authorization to enter Oman and stay here for a maximum period of your visa validity, as permitted. It permits its holder to engage in business-related activities such as attending meetings or conferences, conducting or attending the training, conducting internal audits, installing equipment, or performing other temporary services for a client, local affiliate, or branch office.

Whether or not a foreign citizen needs to meet the transit visa requirements for Oman depends on a few different factors.

If you're travelling from one country to another, and your stop in Oman is less than six hours on the same flight, then you don't need a visa. If you have a flight change, however, with a duration of more than six hours, so you may need this visa. This process can vary depending on your nationality, duration of stay, etc. It is important to check and verify the information with airlines and transit airport before your flight.

If you need a visa for your transit period in Oman, you must apply for the Oman Transit visa or Oman Tourist visa beforehand.

Oman Long-term Visa

Even if your country is exempt from visa requirements, if you intend to stay longer in Oman, you will need to apply for a long-stay visa from your home country before coming to Oman.

In some countries, Oman official embassies and consulates don’t process long-term visas, instead of visa applicants apply for short-term tourist visas for travelling to Oman, and they only apply for residence permit when they have already arrived in Oman. This procedure can vary depending on your country of residence, nationality, and the embassy's policy you apply for a visa.

• Certificate of the amount of the credit card limit issued by the bank (any bank located in Oman or another country is allowed)
• A certificate of availability of money in a bank or a cooperative savings and loan association located on the territory of the Republic of Oman (it cannot be a bank located in your country)
