6. Flight Itinerary

• The date of departure for Venezuela shall not be less than thirty (30) days from the date on which the visa application for this diplomatic mission is issued.

7. Proof of Accommodation

• Proof of accommodation includes the reservation of a hotel or a tenancy agreement or certificate of ownership

8. Medical Certificate

• Issued by the health authority of the country of origin

9. Proof of Financial Means

• Personal bank statements of the last 3 months, personal property, assets, etc.

10. Letter from Local Employer/Sponsor (Proof of Occupation)

• The letter must include:
  • Name, postal address, and telephone number of sponsor/company
  • Details regarding the applicant’s working position, starting date of the employment, and salary
  • The timeframe of work leave (expected date to resume duties) and purpose of travel
• Valid trade license copy and company ownership documents (if a person is an owner of the company).
• Letter from University (if student)
• Copy of sponsor’s valid passport and residence visa (if any) to be attached to letter from sponsor (if an applicant is a dependent)

11. Invitation Letter (if any)

• It must state the full name, address, and telephone number of the contact person making the invitation.
• It must be given by the competent Venezuelan authority in the case of a government invitation; otherwise, you must present the reservation confirmation of the hotel where you are staying in the region.

12. If the Parents are Venezuelan:

• They should make these documents available on a computer, stating
  • Where they will be living,
  • Who will pay all the costs of the child (ren) in Venezuela
  • Who will be responsible for their return to the country of origin
• Plus any information that is considered necessary to apply to the travel, then sign the original document and send it along with the other requirements.

13. Copy of Rental Contract of the Main Residence (If any)

Do citizens of Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru require a tourist visa to enter Venezuela?

The visa requirements for national tourists from the Member Countries of the Andean Community ( Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru) who enter by air through the international airports of Venezuela have been eliminated by the Andean Community according to Decision 603, as of January 1, 2005.

Nationals of the other Member States of the Andean Community can, as visitors, stay in Venezuelan territory for up to ninety (90) days, which may not be extended.

1. If the citizen in the Temporary Migrant (Transient) condition stays outside the country thirty (30) days before the expiry of the visa, the citizen may request a re-entry visa before the Venezuelan Diplomatic or Consular Representation of the country where he is in the next thirty (30) following days, and you can make use of it while it is in effect.

2. In the case of Permanent Migrants (Residents), if the foreign citizen's visa expires outside Venezuela and does not exceed twenty-four (24) months abroad, they may apply for it. In the next 30 days after its expiry, you can request it, in the same way, that you can use it while it is in force to return to the country and resolve your situation.

Venezuela re-entry Passer-by visa is granted with a validity of six (6) months, a single entry.
