What is an Airport Transit Visa?

If you have to pass through the international transit area of Morocco airports without actually entering the national territory of Morocco during a stop-over or transfer between two stages of an international flight, you might need an Airport Transit Visa. The Morocco Transit Visa can be issued for one or two transits, allowing you to stay in Morocco for no more than 72 hours.  

It is especially appropriate for travellers who do not benefit from the visitor visa and who use a Royal Air Maroc flight at Casablanca Airport with a long connection.  It allows leaving the airport at the time of the connection.

Passengers who connect two flights at M5 Casablanca Airport and do not leave the airport's international zone do not need a transit visa.
