The applicants who wish to enter Uganda for different purposes need to apply for an appropriate visa, permit or pass through Uganda Electronic Visa/Permit Application System.

Uganda E-visa
The foreigners can realize their trips to Uganda for different purposes (such as tourism, business, diplomatic, study, work and etc.) by obtaining E-Visa since 2016. The applicants need to print out their confirmed E-visa to present it at the entry. All applicants except citizens from visa-exempted countries and Somalia are eligible to obtain Uganda E-visa.

Uganda Tourist visa is issued for applicants intending to visit Uganda for tourism and sightseeing. You can apply for an Uganda Tourist visa in order to realize your tourist activities.

Can I change my E-visa application?
After submitting your application, you can only modify it if additional documents are requested.
Will the paid fee be refunded if I cancel my application?
No. Fees paid are non-refundable.
Is it possible to reapply for E-visa after getting rejection?
Yes. You can apply for a new E-visa if your circumstances have changed. Otherwise, your new application will also be rejected.
I got a rejection for my E-visa application. Where can I learn the reasons for it?

How can I extend my Uganda visa or permit?

How can I check my E-visa application status?

It is not mandatory. However, it speeds up the procedure at the entry.
