6. Proof of Sufficient Funds

  • Report of the bank statement or photocopies of Traveler’s cheque or bank cards

7. Proof of Accommodation

  • Hotel booking or letter of invitation from the reference person in the Philippines with complete address and telephone number

8. Proof of Professional Status

  • If the applicant is employed: Letter from the applicant’s company (in English) requesting the grant of visa, also stating the applicant’s position, salary, and purpose of travel to the Philippines
  • If the applicant is the owner of a private company: Commercial Registry and Tax Card
  • If the applicant is a student: Enrolment Certificate, a letter of sponsorship, and “no objection” from their parents

Philippines Student Visa

Philippines Student Visa is designated at least eighteen (18) years old students seeking to enter the Philippines temporarily and solely to take up a course of study higher than high school at a university, seminary, academy, college, or school, approved for international students by the Commissioner of Immigration.

The student applicant must first communicate with the school concerned and comply with the school’s institutional requirements.

Said school shall forward the application package to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for approval. Once approved, the application package shall be endorsed by CHED to the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID), if approved, it will be forwarded to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). The DFA will inform the Philippines Embassy of the issuance of the student visa. The Philippines Embassy shall then notify the student accordingly.
