Terms and Conditions

• As indicated in the application form, the pre-approved E-VOA is only valid on the arrival date.
• The purpose of your visit must be short-term travel to Thailand for no longer than 15 days.
• Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 30 days from the date of arrival and at least 1 page of the Visa Stamp must be available.
• Your verified air ticket must indicate no more than 15 days of round-trip travel.
• Your accommodation address in Thailand should be verifiable.

Thailand E-visa on Arrival Application Fee

Thailand E-visa on Arrival fee is 0 THB for regular visa and 600 THB (about 20 USD) for Visa Administrative Center service fee. You can also apply for Express Visa for urgent service. Express visa fee is 0 THB and Visa Administrative Center service fee is 2500 THB (about 85 USD).

• Invitation letter from company/authority in Thailand with full address, stating the purpose and duration of the business trip and/or
• Information on event/congress/trade fair being visited in Thailand with details of organizer/host, with full address in Thailand, duration of the event, and reason to take part (e.g., visitor ticket for trade fair).
  • If applicable, including information about who covers the expenses of the business trip to Thailand
• Only applicable if fair exhibitor: Information on trade fair by submitting exhibitor ticket/exhibitor invoice/confirmation letter reflecting status as trade fair exhibitor.

11. Copy of Corporate Documents; namely

• Company Affidavit of Thai Company - require the validity of the documents not less than 6 months from the date issue 
• Trade license
  • Obtained from Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce

12. Letter of Approval from the Ministry of Labour, WP3/WORK PERMIT Issued by the Office of Foreign Workers Administration

Thailand Student Visa

Thailand Student visa is issued for applicants intending to study in Thailand. If you are a foreign citizen and have been accepted to the Thai educational establishment, you have to obtain a Thailand Student visa. Both for a single-entry or multiple-entry, a Thailand Student Visa is valid for a maximum of 90 days. While you are most likely to have a study course of at least one year, you can still get a 90-day visa. However, you can apply to the Thailand Immigration Department for a fee of 1,900 Thai Baht before your visa is up, to extend it. Every 90 days before the expiry of your visa, you have to extend it.

12. Letter of Acceptance from the Concerned Schools/Universities or Institutes in Thailand

• Invitation Letter from schools/universities or institutes, Organization in Thailand address to the consulate and state the purpose of the travel, student name, family name, age, nationality, passport number, curriculum, total academic years need to apply for Non-immigrant visa - ED for study and signature from the person who has authorized to sign on the letter and Thai ID Card or Copy passport and work permit in Thailand.

13. Enrolment Acceptance from the Schools/Universities or Institutes

       If the study period is less than 5 months:

• Provide a post-study schedule for at least 4 days per week and 2 hours per day

       If the study period is more than 5 months:

• Provide a post-study schedule for at least 5 days per week and 5 hours per day

Thailand Family Reunion visa is issued for applicants who are married to a Thai citizen/resident and want to join his/her spouse in Thailand. Both for a single-entry or multiple-entry, a Thailand Family Reunion Visa is valid for a maximum of 90 days. While you are most likely to stay in Thailand for at least one year, you can still get a 90-day visa. Thailand Transit visa is issued for applicants who enter Thailand for the following purposes:

1. Transiting through airports in Thailand more than 12 hours before traveling to the third destination country or returning to your country.
2. Participating in sports activities/events
3. Transportation captain or crew arrived at the port, station, or area in Thailand

You don’t need a Transit visa if:

• Your connecting flight is in less than 12 hours
• You don’t leave the transit area of the Thai airport
• Your flight is booked on the same ticket
