There are different Tajikistan visa types that can be obtained.
You can undertake a planned trip to Tajikistan by obtaining a visa for Tajikistan. Foreign nationals can apply for a short-term visa to Tajikistan (single entry, multiple entries) by electronic visa, through an embassy, or on arrival for temporary reasons (tourism, business, cultural, and other short-term purposes).

A tourist visa is issued to an applicant wishing to visit Tajikistan for up to three, seven, fourteen, thirty, forty-five days (single and multiple entries).
If a person applies for a visa in the embassy, there are no visa fees. (This may vary depending on your country and nationality).
The fee for a transport visa to Tajikistan (eVisa) is US$32 for a single entry visa and US$52 for a multiple entry visa. The fee may vary depending on your country and nationality.
If you want to travel to GBAO, you will be charged an additional fee of USD 20. "GBAO" is the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast, which requires a special permit in addition to a visa for Tajikistan. The "GBAO" permit holder can enter Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast, except the Suarez Lake area.
The fee for a visa to Tajikistan on arrival is 25-35 USD but may vary depending on your nationality.
Validity of your travel document should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your entry to Tajikistan. Alternatively, there may be additional requirements depending on the type of visa.
