  • Bahrain tourist visa

  • Bahrain business visa

  • Bahrain student visa

E-visa Bahrain

E visa Bahrain is an online way to get a visa to Bahrain. All nationals except North Korea and Iran can get an e-visa in Bahrain. After completing the application form and payment, you will receive your electronic visa by email. Visas are valid for 30 days, and the processing time is usually 2-4 weeks.

Applying for a Bahrain e-Visa

If you are eligible for a Bahrain e-Visa, you can apply online. To get an e-Visa for Bahrain, you have to follow the steps listed:

  1. Complete the application form with your information, including the following:
  • Nationality
  • Personal details
  • Passport number

 

  1. Attach the required documents with the application form in either JPG or PDF format. The records include the following:
  • Scan of your passport
  • A copy of your return flight ticket.
  • Copy of your hotel reservation
  • If you are staying with a relative: A copy of their CPR Reader’s printout.

 

  1. Pay the Bahrain e-Visa fee using a credit or debit card. Remember that the application fee is non-refundable in any case.

You will receive a reference number. You can use that reference number to check the outcome of your application.

A Bahrain e-Visa is processed within 2-4 weeks. Once your Bahrain visa is approved, you can print it out and use it to travel to Bahrain.

 

 

Bahrain Tourist Visa

If the applicant is not available for a Bahrain e-visa or visa on Arrival, you will apply for a visa through an embassy. Bahrain

An embassy visa is a multiple-entry visa, valid for 30 days, which can be used within three months.

Tourist visas are provided to citizens of the European Union (EU), Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, and the United States for a stay of up to two weeks.

Bahrain Work Visa

Bahrain Work visas permit you to work in Bahrain for an extended period of time. Before their arrival, applicants must gather all Labour Bahrain Market Regulatory Authority documents before entering the country.

If the Labour Market Regulatory Authority approves an application, applicants hold the right to work and reside in Bahrain for two years. Bahrain Family Visas allow applicants to bring their family members to Bahrain. However, this visa allows you to live in the country, not work.

Total duration to get a Bahrain visa

There is a different duration for different types of Bahrain issues. The time depends on the visa you apply for:

  • Single-entry Bahrain visa on arrival is valid for one month. (could be used within 30 days after its approval)
  • Single-entry Bahrain visa on arrival is valid for three months. But you cannot stay more than 30 days overall.
  • Multiple-entry Bahrain e-Visa is valid for three months. But you cannot last more than 30 days altogether.
  • Multiple-entry Bahrain visas can also be issued for one year. But you cannot stay in Bahrain for longer than three months on each visit.

Extending a Bahrain Visa

You can apply to extend your visa at the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs office (NPRA) of the Ministry of Interior. You can usually extend your stay for another two weeks to a month, and you have to pay an extension fee.

Can I work in Bahrain on a tourist visa?

No, it is illegal to work in Bahrain on a tourist visa. You will need a work permit and a sponsored work visa (from your employer).
