You can carry out your planned trip to Qatar by obtaining a Qatari visa. Foreign nationals can apply for short-term visas to Qatar (tourist visa, eVisa) for temporary reasons (tourism, business, cultural and other short-term purposes). An eVisa to Qatar is valid for 30 days and counts as a single entry visa. You can extend your Qatari eVisa for a further 30 days.
The employer is responsible for obtaining a work visa for each employee to be hired before he/she enters Qatar. It is possible for an employee to enter Qatar on a visitor's visa (Qatar visit visa), who may then apply for a work visa, although work must not commence before a work visa is obtained. It is the employer who will sponsor each employee.
