 Egypt E Visa 

The Egypt E Visa is available to those who want to get an Egypt visa online. If you would like to get an Egypt tourist visa, Egypt business visa, or any other short-term subtype of visa and you are on the list of eligible countries, then you should apply for an online visa through the official website. You will get your visa during 5-7 business days by email. The validity of an online visa to Egypt is 90 days, it can be single-entry or multiple entries, depending on your choice. Egypt visa online cost for single entry is 25 USD, and for multiple-entries is 60 USD.

If you are not eligible for an Egypt e visa, then you can apply for a traditional paper visa through the embassy. Depending on the purpose of your visit you can choose tourism, business, cultural, or any other short-term purpose visa. Usually, the validity of a short-term Egypt visa is 30 days, but it can change depending on your nationality and country of application.  

 

Egypt Long Term Visa  

Even if your country is exempt from visa requirements and you plan to stay in Egypt for a longer period, you must still apply for a long-term visa from your home country before visiting Egypt.  

In some countries, official Egyptian embassies and consulates do not accept applications for long-term visas. Most visa applicants will need to apply for short-term tourist visas to travel to Egypt. Once in the country, they can apply for a residence permit. This process may vary depending on your country of residence, nationality, and the embassy’s policy for visa applications.

How long does it take to get a visa to Egypt? 

The processing time of an Egypt visa depends on the type of visa you are applying for. Usually, the processing time for a short-term Egypt visa is 1-20 calendar days, and for a long-term, Egypt visa is 3-20 calendar days.  

 

 

What is the difference between a single-entry Egypt visa and a multiple-entry visa? 

 

The single-entry visa allows you to stay within Egypt for up to 30 days. This means that the time starts counting as soon as you land in Egypt and once the 30 days have passed you will need to leave the country. 

With a multiple-entry visa, you can enter the country as many times as you want in a period of 180 days. However, the maximum number of days you can stay in the country out of those 180 remains 30.

Should I print my Egypt eVisa when traveling to Egypt? 

If you are planning on a trip to Egypt and you have completed your application online you should bring a printed copy of your visa when you are entering the country. Always present a printed copy of your visa to the Egyptian border authority for easier entry into the country. 

 

What is the price difference for a single-entry or multiple-entry tourist Egypt visa? 

 

A single-entry visa is a slightly cheaper option since it costs $25. A multiple-entry visa on the other hand costs around $60. If you are not planning on re-entering the country and instead have a tripped booked for specific days then you may want to get a single-entry visa as it is a much cheaper option.

How long does it take to get an Egypt Visa on Arrival? 

To get an Egypt visa on arrival you will need to queue in line. There is no guaranteed number for the number of people who will be queued at any given time. 

Once you are at the front of the queue processing your visa should not take long if you have the right paperwork. If you are missing any of the required paperwork you may not be allowed in the country. 

If you know you will be traveling to Egypt and the trip is planned it is always better to get your visa online or through the embassy. This is because only certain entry points allow a visa on arrival in Egypt.
