Yes. Dependent children over 18 years of age and under 24 years of age who are engaged in higher education in Papua New Guinea or abroad and are still financially supported by the principal holder of the Permanent Residency Visa may apply for a Permanent Residency Dependent Visa.
Applications for Permanent Residency visas usually take between 3 and 4 months to be processed. It may take longer in some circumstances. If your application is incomplete and does not contain all the information required to finalize the application, the processing will be delayed.
Pursuant to the law of Papua New Guinea, the holder of a visa must enter Papua New Guinea within six (6) months of the issuance of the visa. If you do not enter the PNG within six (6) months of the issuance of your visa, your visa will be considered invalid and you will need to apply for a new visa.
