Kuwait Long-term Visa

Kuwait long-term visas are issued to persons wishing to obtain a long-term residence or permanent residence permit in Kuwait.

Kuwait Family Reunion Visa

This visa is intended to permit foreign nationals to obtain a long-term visa, allowing them to stay in Kuwait for a longer period. This visa applies to family members of Kuwait nationals and wishing to obtain a permit for long-term residence in Kuwait. To obtain a Kuwait Family Reunion visa, it is compulsory that the husband earns at least 450 KD (1.500 USD) monthly (in case of possessing a 17-visa) and at least 650 KD (2.150 USD) monthly (in case of possessing an 18-visa). If both man and wife work in Kuwait, they can sponsor their children there but only if their salaries combined exceed 350 KD (1.160 USD) monthly.

There are some cases about family reunion visa:

1. The husband cannot be sponsored by the wife.
2. While you can sponsor adult daughters and parents, you can't sponsor your sons over 21 years of age.

This visa applies for those who want to work within the legal frame of employment upon taking an employment permit and the work permit as per appointed procedure from competent regional authorities. The visa application must be sponsored by a Kuwaiti person or corporation.

The sponsor needs to apply for the Work Visa from the Ministry of Social Affairs & Labour in Kuwait. The sponsor must submit your personal details in order to make use of this permit. You will have to send a copy of your passport to your sponsor, which they will have to show to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. The NOC (No Objection Certificate) must be used by the General Administration of Criminal Investigation at the Ministry of the Interior. After the sponsor receives the work visa/permit, he has to send the same to you along with the NOC. Employees for private sector companies are required to have NOCs and a copy of the employer's authorized signatory registered for business purposes.

Required Documents for Kuwait Student Visa

2. Photo

• The photo should be of passport format, a recent whole-face capture with a light background.
• It must be in the size of 3.5 x 4.5 colored, and the head should take 70-80% of the photo.
• You must be looking straight at the camera with a neutral facial expression (no smile and mouth closed).
• Try to avoid uniforms or colors matching the background.

3. Passport and Copy of the Main Page

• Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date.
• It also must have at least two blank pages.

8. Sufficient Financial Resources

• Financial resources prove that you have enough money to cover your living expenses in Kuwait

9. Cover Letter by Sponsor

• A cover letter which is explaining the course by the sponsor

10. Health Certificate

• Obtained from a local doctor who certifies that the applicant is in good health and free of contagious diseases.

11. Criminal Record

• Police clearance that shows no criminal record

12. Flight Reservation

• One way flight ticket

13. Proof of Accommodation

• Valid (existing) hotel/accommodation booking/reservation with the full address (name, street, city, zip code, contact information, booking ref.)
• In case of staying at a private house, submit a copy of the house owner’s resident card (both front and backside) and fill out the address on the application form.

14. Health Insurance

• Proof of health insurance for the stay in Kuwait
